Concrete additive 10 kg

The professional plasticizer additive is a strong water reducer, specially formulated for screeds covering underfloor heating systems. When mixed with the cement/concrete used, this additive gives a superior elasticity to the mixture, increasing malleability and mechanical resistance to vibrations by fast removing any air from the concrete. The screed additive is completely soluble in water, contains no chlorides and it does not corrode metal structures or equipment.

RULES FOR USE

The plasticizer additive for the screed should amount to 0.5% – 1% of the total amount of cement (add between 0.5 and 1 kg of additive to 100 kg of cement). For maximum efficiency, premix the powdery materials (cement and aggregates) with at least 70% of the amount of water. Add the screed additive to the mixture and mix for 3-5 minutes until homogeneous. Add the rest of the water until reaching the desired consistency. The mixture can be used within 90 minutes.
